English names are written in Hangul, the Korean alphabet. The name is phonetically adapted — "Michael" becomes 마이클 (maikeul), "Sarah" becomes 세라 (sera).
Korean has different distinct sounds than English. "L" and "R" merge into one sound (ㄹ), "th" doesn't exist, and "v" becomes "ㅂ" (b sound).
Foreign names in Korean follow the Korean government's official transliteration guidelines. First and last names are separated by a space, just like in English.
